Mise en place (food processor, measuring cup andspoons, plastic wrap).
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter,cubed and chilled <br>2 cups all purpose flour<br>1 teaspoon salt Ice water

Directions:
- Cut 2 sticks of butter into small pieces and put it in the freezer to stay cold.
- Put 2 cups of all purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt in the food processor.
- Add one half of the butter to the flour mixture and pulse about 10 times (butter will look like little peas).
- Put the rest of the butter in the mixer and pulse another 10 times.
- Turn the food processor on and add the ice cold water one tablespoon at a time until the mixture forms a ball.
- Take the dough out of the mixer and put it on the counter that has been sprinkled with flour.
- Use your hands to press the dough into a smooth ball. Flatten the ball and wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
